Hi, I’m Mandi- wife, mom of two, and the heart behind Bay Laurel Photography, based in Fulton, Mississippi. I serve Belmont, Iuka, Tupelo, Booneville, and the surrounding Northeast Mississippi area. I specialize in soft, natural-light portraits that feel simple, relaxed, and timeless.

The name Bay Laurel is deeply personal to me. My middle name, Lorene, honors my late grandmother who passed away from cancer at just 52. The name Lorene means “Laurel tree” or “Sweet Bay,” a symbol of victory and strength, and a reminder that beauty can grow even in hard seasons.

Before photography, I spent nearly ten years as a full-time Radiation Therapist caring for cancer patients. When my children were born, I felt called to slow down and spend more time at home. That’s when my love for photography truly began- capturing my own family’s moments and learning how quickly time passes.

As a mom, I understand the challenges that can come with family photos: the busy schedules, little ones who need breaks, and the desire for genuine smiles. My goal is to make your session feel effortless and relaxed, focusing on connection over perfection. My style is simple, natural, and true to life. I want your photos to feel like you.
